Live Cafe Recording
Facility

Our plan at The Art Bunker Collective is to host live music 12pm - 3pm consisting of open mics, jams & paid bands/solo acts. Within this process, the bands and performers will have an option to choose to record the performances straight into a digital audio workstation (DAW).

All participating musicians are granted immediate, non-exclusive access to take digital copies of their own isolated, raw performance tracks (stems) home. These individual stems may be freely used by the respective artist for private practice, education, or non-commercial creative exploration and beat-making, independent of the group.
If an artist wants to use a stem to make money or release a commercial track, they must first get formal permission and make a clear agreement with the original creator.

We also understand that some original artists might not want to perform or join in jam sessions should people be able to sample their chord structures and key. So, if it is an original song, the writer of the song gets full permissions to refuse the backing band having access to their own samples recorded in an original song production.

As a recording facility we will operate free of charge. We do appreciate donations, so that we can better support more musicians and artists.

Artists can also book to use the recording facility in the evening, please speak to a staff member.

Free coffees and teas for performers.
