The Art Bunker Collective is an Art & Music Social Hub with one aim, to reinvest money from creative enterprise into mental health support, community development and entrepreneurial development.
We are an Alcohol-free creative space with the belief system that developing confidence without 'dutch courage' is essential in building long-lasting character development that challenges anxiety and depression.
The Art Bunker Collective provides free of charge support groups for entrepreneurs called 'Small Steps to Big Dreams'. This group is designed for new entrepreneurs to gather, discuss through experience, strength and hope the steps entrepreneurs take to make their business ideas/dreams into a reality.
The Art Bunker Collective provides space for community development meetings called 'Helping Hands'. This group is designed for people interested in making a difference in the world by collaborating on projects that help improve the needs of local communities whilst connecting local communities together.
Some examples of the projects we could assist in are; "making burnley greener", "challenging local politics to fight inequality and injustice", "supporting community engagement through hosting public events", "steps to make burnley renewable/net zero carbon emissions", "communal living programmes".
The Art Bunker Collective will reinvest profits into making sure we have mental health support workers on our sites. And we aim to build a volunteer network of people willing to give back and help people in their community.

Life is difficult. Our solution is to build an art and music network of creative entrepreneurs alongside a network of people with BIG hearts and lots of empathy willing to give their time, money and effort in creating a better world. If you want to help, please come and get involved. You can definitely make a difference! One person at a time.
Our plan at The Art Bunker Collective is to host live music 12pm - 3pm consisting of open mics, jams & paid bands/solo acts. Within this process, the bands and performers will have an option to choose to record the performances straight into a digital audio workstation (DAW).
If artists give permission for other artists to use samples from their jam sessions in their own portfolio we will share the individual tracks recorded that have been approved with the requesting artist and the performing artist.
We also understand that some original artists might not want to perform or join in jam sessions should people be able to sample their chord structures and key. So, if it is an original song, the writer of the song gets full permissions to refuse anybody having access to samples and recordings.
As a recording facility we will operate free of charge. We do appreciate donations, so that we can better support more musicians and artists.
Artists can also book to use the recording facility in the evening, please speak to a staff member.
